Privacy Policy

What we collect

FirmSimplified collects the business contact details, firm profile, workflow selections, systems, volumes, time estimates, labor-cost inputs, and requested outcomes you choose to provide. If you purchase a service, we also keep order, payment-status, entitlement, delivery, and support records. The public assessment must not be used to submit client names, matter facts, conflict subjects, privileged files, credentials, or other case-level confidential information.

When you create or use an account, our authentication provider processes account identifiers and security information needed to sign you in. If you choose Google sign-in, we receive the basic identity information you authorize through Google: your name, email address, profile identifier, and profile picture when available. We do not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, Contacts, or other Google service data.

How we use information

We use information to calculate and display your assessment, respond to requests, determine whether proposed automation work is feasible, process and verify purchases, deliver purchased audits, maintain security and reliability, and comply with legal obligations. Assessment economics use deterministic arithmetic based on inputs you supply; we do not sell personal information or use assessment answers for third-party advertising.

Account information is used to authenticate you, protect customer and administrator areas, associate purchased work with the correct account, prevent abuse, and maintain an auditable service history. We do not use Google account information to train models, build advertising profiles, or make automated legal decisions.

Service providers and disclosures

We use infrastructure providers to host the application and database, Clerk to authenticate users, Stripe to process payments, and Postmark to deliver operational email when configured. These providers receive only the information needed for their role. Stripe receives payment and transaction information on its hosted checkout; FirmSimplified does not receive full card details. Google processes the sign-in request when you choose Google authentication, while Clerk maintains the resulting account and session records.

We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or security, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal information. Naming software in an assessment does not mean we connect to that software or disclose information to its vendor.

Cookies and similar storage

We use cookies and similar storage needed for assessment continuity, authentication, session security, fraud prevention, and core application operation. We do not describe these necessary technologies as evidence that a third-party advertising or behavioral tracking system is active.

Retention and deletion

We retain information only as long as needed to provide the service, maintain business and security records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet applicable legal obligations. Different records may require different retention periods. For example, payment and entitlement history may need to be retained longer than an incomplete assessment. A deletion request may therefore result in deletion, de-identification, or restricted retention depending on the record and the obligation that applies.

Security

We use access controls, protected credential storage, tenant boundaries, database controls, transport encryption, and operational review appropriate to the service. Access to customer work is limited by authentication, authorization, and active service entitlement. No online service can guarantee absolute security, and users should not submit credentials, privileged files, or case-level confidential information through the public assessment.

Your choices and contact

You may ask about, correct, or request deletion of personal information, subject to records we must retain. You may also choose not to use Google sign-in and use another enabled authentication method when one is available. Contact us at brady.christensen@customcodepro.com. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the service, providers, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes will be reflected here before they are relied upon for new uses of information.
